Entries for the annual NGIA 2016 Nursery & Garden Awards open 1 August 2015. This year's award program kicks off the 22nd year of acknowledging the leading businesses in our industry.
In June, the NGIA Board expressed their support for the Awards, noting their importance in recognising whole of business performance, including their encouragement of industry businesses to advance their professional knowledge and skills, and for their promotion of industry best practice.
The awards have been celebrated by the industry for over two decades, and during this time they have evolved to maintain their relevance to industry and modern business practices. As a result of modifications in recent years, the 2016 program remains current and unchanged.
The Nursery & Garden Awards encourage business owners to empower their teams using a ‘divide and conquer’ approach. With the inclusion of a video component again this year, this is a great opportunity to discover the creative and social media know-how of your colleagues. NGIA have developed support resources to assist in entry preparations and have an online social expert available to support all entrants.
The National Winners will be announced at the Nursery & Garden Awards Gala Dinner, the pinnacle function of the 2016 Nursery & Garden Industry National Conference & Exhibition on Wednesday 17 February 2016. The Conference will be held in Adelaide, South Australia from 15- 17 February 2016.
