The park is adjacent to the local shopping centre and includes a number of recreational facilities that have night time use within the park. The amenity and safety of these spaces will be significantly improved by this project.
The project was designed by Buckford Illumination Group and provides a high performance lighting solution with the recognised quality and performance of WE-EF LED luminaires and SOLARTECHNIQ high quality solar panel, battery and control options. Poles are provided by Galvanised Poles Australia.
There are nine, 6m pole mounted units in the project, each with a WE-EF VFL 540 24W LED luminaire and solar components providing all night power and multi-day operation in the event of low solar radiation.
This project exemplifies the SOLARTECHNIQ goal of providing quality lighting outcomes with infrastructure quality components powered by solar. Much of the solar lighting infrastructure we see fails to deliver in both of these areas. A critical feature of the offer is the WE-EF luminaire which incorporates: marine grade die-cast aluminium alloy; 5CE corrosion protection system; PCS® polymer coated stainless steel hardware; RFC® reflection free contour; and ECG electronic; 10kV/10kA high performance SPD.
Additionally, WE-EF IOS (Innovative Optical System) provides five different distribution options to optimise lighting and energy management outcomes.
SOLARTECHNIQ WE-EF solutions are available in configurations from 6W to 144W in appropriate pole heights in both single and multi-luminaire options to achieve a range of AS1158 performance requirements. A range of digital control and programing options are also available including time based and motion sensor operated and 4G internet control and monitoring.
