The tallest greenwall in Australia has been unveiled by Mark Paul, Founder and Director of The Greenwall Company.
Spanning over 24 floors of the Origin Head Office building in Melbourne (Exhibition St), each floor has its own unique make up, specifically designed to maximise the varying angles and lighting.
Mark describes his greenwall creation as forming a continuous green spine down the core of the building.
The Greenwall Company builds its walls from 94 per cent of recyclable materials, taking the benefits of its greenwalls beyond just their aesthetic appeal.
As well as providing an instant, textural green solution to architectural facades, additional benefits of a greenwall include thermal insulation, improved air quality, reduced noise and increased acoustics. There are over 30 different greenwall applications currently available, providing varying façade loadings, affects and cost benefits.
Mark’s goal is to reclaim the built environment, with the Origin project taking him a step closer to reaching this goal.
