A little more dignified than La Tomatina is the Tomato Festival Sydney, which will be held 31st January- 2nd of February at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Sydney, giving you the opportunity to celebrate and learn about the most popular fruit in the world.

Put your homemade passata, sauce or chutney to the test for  the best in show prize, judged by Executive Head Chew John McFadden (Trippas White Group) Food aficionado Jill Dupleix and chief restaurant critic for the Sydney Morning Herald, Terry Durrack.
