When 2 become 1: The Landscape Australia Expo and the Spring Green Expo Unite!

For the first time, The Landscape Australia Expo Queensland will be held alongside the Nursery and Garden Industry Association of Queensland’s annual Spring Green Expo on the 30^th and 31^st of July 2013 at the Gold Coast Convention Centre.

Both events cater to the professional nursery and landscaping industries so there will a much greater range of products and services available in the one, handy location. Visitors will be able to easily move between the two exhibitions with free entry to both shows and a dedicated walkway in-between to encourage people to explore both events.

Landscape Australia Expo Event Manager Michael McAlister says “We’re really excited about being able to bring these two events together. It creates a one-stop shop for professionals who are looking for products and services to use in their business and future projects. With people being so busy and time poor these days this will really be an effective way to get the information you need all in one place”.

As an attendee of the previous Landscape Australia Expo in Sydney, I was impressed by how far people travel to attend these trade events.  It seems considerate of the events to come together like this and offer twice as much on display in the one location, over the same period of time. Personally, I find these expos very valuable events to attend. Not only do they showcase the absolute latest innovations in products and services but you also get to personally meet the suppliers and discuss with them first hand their own range and have questions answered relevant to you and your company’s needs. Expos bring the industry together as a community, which is very worthwhile in an industry like landscaping where a project takes such collaborative effort between a myriad of producers and suppliers. Expos are also hugely beneficial to the suppliers themselves, as it gets them directly in touch with buyers.

The Landscape Australia Expo also promotes an educational and social aspect to all their events. As usual, they will be hosting their annual Landscape Designer’s Breakfast and Seminar which providers a free continental breakfast to Queensland Designers and Architects while hosting specific seminars on key industry topics like small business management, challenges and future trends.

If two events located in the one easy place isn’t ideal enough, they are both located on Queensland’s beautiful Gold Coast, which adds one more reason to make the trip.
