LNA FORMALLY ANNOUNCES THEIR NEW INFORMAL AWARDS
10 July 2013
A new informal awards event has been created to occur every alternate year, known as the LNA Landscape Excellence 'Industry' Awards.
The LNA Board of Directors have acknowledged the amount of planning and cost involved in entering and preparing projects for the LNA Landscape Excellence Awards. They also appreciate how landscapers need to remain completely focused on all facets of their businesses in the current economic climate, and cannot always afford the drain on resources and spare the staff time.
As such, the decision has been made to hold the formal event “LNA Landscape Excellence Awards - Project Categories” every second year, as opposed to every year.
However, to recognise members who have contributed to the industry as well as acknowledge sponsors and the LNA membership rewards program, a new informal awards event has been created to occur in the alternate year. This event will be known as the LNA Landscape Excellence 'Industry' Awards.
This year will be the first year ever of the informal awards, which is scheduled to be held at Ryde TAFE Institute on Thursday 29 August at 5:30pm. The event will also feature the Andreasens Green 'Pot of Gold’ valued at $14,000 which will be drawn at the event.
