AQUATIC PARADISE PARK

Working in collaboration with a landscape architect to produce a concept design that was based on a predetermined set of guidelines, Austek Play’s inhouse design team interpreted their clients’ needs to present an inviting and stimulating space.

In considering the location and environment, Austek Play opted to provide Australian-made marine grade equipment that was suitable for a foreshore location, in order to provide the ultimate protection against the elements.

The overall design of this exciting and challenging space was completed with bright and inviting colours. The layout of the design provides children of all abilities inclusive access and the opportunity to move throughout the playspace safely and independently.

Austek Play showcased the Hags Mirage Seat – an industry-leading all-abilities swing seat, suitable for use with a harness in addition to being durable and robust enough to survive the most demanding of environments.

Befitting of a seaside location, mounds were constructed to represent faux sand dunes with blue rubber and sand softfall representing the ocean.

Natural rope play was included to create a space for imaginative play, following a balance trail that encourages users’ sense of exploration. Sandstone blocks were place around the perimeter, offering informal seating.
