Ararat Rural City Council engaged adventure+ to redevelop the Alexandra Gardens playground, resulting in an engaging play space. Large enough to enable multiple children to play simultaneously, coupled with a wide range of different play activities, it has become a popular gathering place for the local community.

 An imaginative junior area

The ‘Barn’ and ‘Tractor’ play units were designed as a perfect haven for the younger children.  This thoughtful themed design showcases a play area specifically tailored for the little ones, ensuring their safety and enjoyment. By incorporating lower platforms for easier access and age-appropriate activities, younger children can freely explore the joys of play without any worries.  Not only does this well-designed playground unit encourage physical activity, but it also nurtures the development of crucial motor skills, coordination and imagination in these young minds. It’s a delightful space where the little ones can learn, grow, and have a fantastic time in a secure environment.

 A challenging tower for senior children

The 'Tower' play unit is excellent for older children seeking more excitement and challenge.  With its carefully designed elements, such as the large Tunnel Slide and the Arched Looped Climber, this playground is a great challenge for the adventurous.  As they ascend to the upper platforms, children will feel a rush of adrenaline and a sense of accomplishment.
