By utilising the very latest advances and innovations in plant production, Benara Nurseries supplies and works closely with landscape architects, councils, landscape contractors and retailers with quality plants Australia-wide.
Benara Nurseries was founded in 1963 by Basil and Winifred James on a two acre site location in Morley, Perth, Western Australia. In 1970 their sons, Garry and Ian, joined the business and opened the Wanneroo site for wholesale growing in 1974. Forged on strong customer relationships, by 2003 the nursery had grown to 164 acres and the third generation of the James family was now firmly grounded in the management of the nursery.
Today, the nursery operates 232 acres of production area and employs 300 staff to produce a broad range of products from seedlings all the way to advanced trees. Our extensive growing list covers a large range of Australian native and exotic tree and shrub species, succulents, flowering perennials and annuals, large volumes of grasses and natives for commercial landscapers, revegetation, councils, commercial tree seedlings for plantations, carbon offset, farmers and commercial vegetables for market gardens.
With a distribution network in each state and two wholesale Trademarts located in Perth, Benara can supply or contract grow your next order or large commercial project.
