Flower Carpet® roses are low maintenance, disease resistant and will flower prolifically. They won't need a lot of water once established, and you can even get away with not pruning them.

Budgets control everything. In landscaping, the amount of $$$ literally defines the spaces people end up walking through – from low-end parks with patchy shrubberies and rangy trees, to the sweeps of hand pruned roses at the race course.
This brutal truth is one of the first things you learn in landscaping, and if you’re any good at what you do, it’s because you’ve gathered a few tricks to beat the system, ways to produce that high-end look on tight budgets. And to do that you need a plant that shrieks posh but doesn’t need costly maintenance – and here it is.
Yes the Flower Carpet® rose is a true rose. It grows on a real bush – not an awkward angularly pruned plant – and it covers itself in a blanket of classic rose buds which smother the bush when they open. And there’s more good news.
Unlike traditional roses, Flower Carpet® roses are evergreen so you don’t need to spend $$$ to interplant them to keep them looking good through winter. They have natural disease resistance so you save more $$$ by not spraying. You can even get away with not pruning them, though they do look good if they’ve been given a once over – literally a sweep with the hedge clippers wielded by your newest, untrained team member.
They won’t need a lot of water once established, and if you’ve prepared a weed free site and mulched, they’ll grow to exclude enough light to continue to keep the zone weed free. And probably best of all, there are now eight different colours available in the Flower Carpet® collection.
So add them into the mix of stalwarts – Dietes grandiflora, Festuca glauca, the lomandras, the dianellas - and watch the Flower Carpet® roses lift a planting from baseline to lovely.
