Activity Playgrounds delivered a fully landscaped playspace for Belgrave South Recreation Reserve, VIC, with nature-based play elements that provide engaging activities for all ages and encourage kids to enjoy the outdoors.
Yarra Ranges Council wanted to develop an exciting new playground for the locals. Renowned in Victoria for its exceptional service, Activity Playgrounds was commissioned to deliver this playground at Belgrave South Recreation Reserve. 
Located in a shaded area at the reserve, Activity Playgrounds provided the complete playspace solution with full landscaping and all play equipment delivered by the company. 
Landscaping included drainage, wet pour rubber under-surfacing, concrete slabs for park furniture and line marking for a half-basketball court with a scooter track. Additional features include park furniture, a drinking fountain, and garden beds with log and rock edging and rock walls. 
The key feature of the playground is a small natural play fort that allows the kids to climb up – either via the ladder or rock-climbing wall – enjoy the view and slide back down. Additional play equipment includes a 4m rope tower, birds next swing with natural bush poles, a spring rocker and a double swingset.
