After receiving design input from the students, a series of rainbow benches designed by Street Furniture Australia were installed in the outdoor playspaces of St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School in Marsfield, Sydney. See what makes these benches so fun.
The students of St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School were consulted in the design of a new play and outdoor learning space. After much deliberation, the kids requested ‘rainbow seats’ to brighten up the space and bring in the fun. 
“They chose vivid, happy colours to complement the softfall and shadecloth colours, favouring a combination of curved and straight seating,” explained Principal Julianne Rook. “The space is multifunctional, serving as both an outdoor learning and interactive playspace.” 
Street Furniture Australia delivered Mall Curved Slim Benches, paired with Mall Slim Benches in vibrant hues to create curved and straight formations. 
The battens are powdercoated in Lobster Red, Sensation Orange, Brilliant Yellow, Viper Green, Bondi Blue and Jaybird – with Lobster Red frames – for the rainbow effect. 
The colours are part of Street Furniture Australia’s UV-stable fade-resistant DuraBright range that can withstand the harsh Australian climate.
