a_space developed Park Warrior with the intention that, in addition to be available for use by anyone at any time, these innovative obstacle courses could be used for community events and competitions.
With a rapidly expanding network of Park Warrior courses across Australia, a_space was approached by Obstacle Australia, the peak body for ninja/obstacle course racing which is set to become an Olympic sport. Obstacle Australia were keen to access Park Warrior courses to promote their sport and undertake events. a_space quickly recognised the potential to further enhance the activation opportunities for Councils and as a result formalised a partnership with Obstacle Australia.
