AN AFRICAN RESORT THAT PRODUCES ITS OWN WATER

MASK Architects has unveiled its new designs for BAOBAB Luxury Safari Resort in Africa that takes its resort high up into the trees and through air-to-water technology produces its own water.
The innovative air-to-water technology pulls moisture from the humid air and through dehumidification pulls moisture out and purifies it to create drinking water. The water collected by the structure is stored in a water tank located in the centre of the design. Powered by transparent solar panels that are covered in curtain glass, the resorts structures are self-sustaining and the world’s first eco-tourism design.
The luxury resort structures are inspired by Baobab trees that are resembled through its conical shape. The structures are constructed from durable aluminium poles that are covered in wood that complement and harmoniously blend into the surrounding landscape. 
The designs also include a raised swimming area and interaction deck that allows guests to interact with the African wildlife.
MASK Architects has created a world first eco-tourism design that sees a step into the future for environmentally-friendly, self-sustaining communities.
