AUSTRALIAN-MADE PLAYSPACES WITH OMNITECH

As a market leader in the playground industry for over 30 years, Omnitech Playgrounds is proud to boast a long history of manufacturing in-house and locally sourcing its materials. Understanding the needs of local communities requires a local partner in play to bring their projects to life, and with Omnitech’s on-site sales, design and manufacturing teams, the team makes this possible.
From the initial stages of a project on-site consultations with the specialised sales team ensures the time is given to thoroughly understand the needs and wants of a desired playspace, as well as the complexities required to carry out the project successfully. Omnitechs team of designers are then able to transform this concept into a reality, working to a client’s budget to maximise the space’s play value in an aesthetic which is true to the environment which surrounds it. Stretching from Omnitechs standard range of play units to something completely unique and customisable, Omnitech can accommodate what a job requires.
With a finger on the pulse, Omnitech is utilising the latest manufacturing technologies in 3D laser cutting and robotic welding for mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium componentry. Through doing so we can guarantee the highest quality outcome for its product, minimise waste in production and offer a faster lead time on projects. These components are powdercoated in Omnitechs Somerton factory, producing a high quality and durable finish in sixteen different colour ways.
Omnitech also understands that customisability can also be important to a project, to make it unique and true to the space which it completes. Omnitech’s in-house CNC cutting capabilities allows the company to design and manufacture its own HDPE and composite timber play elements. Used for interactive panels, springers and climbers, opportunities for customisation are endless with a variety of colours available to complement any playspace and achieve a creative vision. Omnitech uses all recycled HDPE, and unusable off-cuts are collected and recycled to uphold its environmental responsibility.
Also located on-site in the Somerton production facility is Omnitechs rope fabrication workshop. Omnitech uses highly engineered woven polypropylene rope with a wire rope core to provide maximum strength and durability for its ever-expanding range of rope-based play elements. Perfect for bringing a modern look to any playspace. Manufactured on site, the rope can be tailored to create a wide range of nets, climbers and bridges which can be invaluable in linking multiple play units together across a uniquely shaped space.
From hardware and steel to timber and plastics, Omnitech makes a concerted effort to locally source the elements and services it uses, allowing the company to create Australian-made playspaces which will stand proud in local communities for many years.
