BRIDGING THE GAP
30 Mar 2016
Fleming’s bridges the landscape gap at Rockbank with a clever design that is out of the box and looking to set a new benchmark for landscaping in master-planned communities.
Melbourne’s outer west is coming alive with a hive of residential development in the corridor from Rockbank to Melton, and the dream to deliver something special for the area is being spearheaded by development firm Goldfields, together with the Fleming’s Group.
Goldfields’ development Bridgewater Living is one out of the box. The team have been working closely with Fleming’s Landscapes for almost three years – planning something very special – a place where lush vibrant gardens are the centrepiece.
All of Bridgefield’s gardens and parks, streets and reserves will be designed and installed by the Fleming’s Group - Australia’s most diverse horticultural company – and overseen by its company director, horticulturalist and winner of a Best in Show gold medal at the Chelsea Flower Show, Wes Fleming.
Bridgefield’s dedication to its green spaces will see this community developed under the watchful eye of Fleming who is an advocate for creating superior urban communities that are greener, healthier and a more natural living environment for residents and visitors alike - and a more attractive one too.
The parks and gardens at Bridgefield will set a new benchmark for landscaping in master-planned communities. All the parks throughout Bridgefield are designed to provide areas of shade and shelter, with open lawn areas, established European and native trees and plants.
In addition, all homes will have the choice of a completed front yard landscape that has been designed by a Chelsea Flower Show award-winning designer, or by Fleming’s themselves.
Designers for the gardens include: Mark Browning – Silver-Gilt at Chelsea and Best in Show winner from Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show (MIFGS), among his many accolades; Ian Barker – Silver-Gilt at Chelsea and multiple-gold medal winner at MIFGS; Scott Wynd – Gold medallist at Chelsea and multiple MIFGS gold medals, and of course the Best in Show Chelsea winner; Philip Johnson, who is a multiple ‘Best-in-Show’ awards and MIFGS Gold award winner.
This is a unique line-up of Australian landscape design royalty, and together with Fleming’s, buyers in this unique new community will purchase something very special for the longterm.
This exciting development was launched in March 2016 with a garden display suite incorporating live examples of six stunning front garden designs potential buyers can peruse and ponder when visiting.
