Its trees are widely used by councils, public authorities, landscapers, developers. Over the years they have seen many changes in production methods and species grown.
Today Mt William Advanced Tree Nursery uses Rocket® pot technology in its production system which results in high quality trees with a good root system. There are many reasons why you should plant a Rocket® pot grown tree.
- Air pruned roots lose their apical dominance
- Each new root grows to a cusp and desiccates
- Abundant new root tips develop
- Extra root tips give the tree a far greater capacity to absorb water and nutrients when planted
