The annual Civil Engineering Expo (CivEnEx) takes place Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 21–23 at Western Sydney International Dragway, Eastern Creek.
Australia’s premier exhibition for the public works, construction and property maintenance industries, CivEnEx is a one-stop shop and is hosted by the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia (NSW Division).
Despite the economic slowdown, the Institute for Public Works Engineering Australia (IPWEA) is expecting a record attendance at this year’s show. “There’s a renewed sense of optimism among construction contractors now, given some 75 per cent of the Federal Government’s $42 billion mini-budget will be spent on schools, housing, energy-efficiency, community infrastructure, roads, rail and tax breaks for businesses spending on capital assets,” said Greg Moran, IPWEA NSW President.
CivEnEx showcases new products and innovations in engineering, construction, excavation, paving, pipes, landscaping, arborage, water, sewer, trucks, sweepers, waste, roads and traffic, power equipment, signs and much more.
CivEnEx will also feature live demos in the IPWEA Demonstration Area. There will also be a working demonstration and test drive area.
CivEnEx provides an opportunity to network with customers and colleagues in a relaxed and friendly outdoor environment.
Every year, more than 5000 visitors attend the show from a wide cross-section of the construction, public works and local government sectors including engineers, private contractors and tradespeople eager to check out the latest product developments.
“Key decision makers have always looked for suppliers who are supportive and innovative and this year they will also be focused on solutions that represent value. Everyone in contracting will be seeking tools that provide a genuine competitive advantage when it comes to winning tenders and accessing government contracts,” says Greg.
With FREE admission and FREE parking, CivEnEx is a must! Both private companies and the public are invited.
Outdooor Design Source will have a presence at CivEnEx. To get a FREE copy of this year's directory, and to find out more about Australia's premier publication for the external works industry, be sure to visit us at Stand 6.
