The CIVENEX brand has been going from strength to strength over the past 59 years and this year it will be visiting Brisbane to join with the long trusted Queensland Infrastructure event LOGOV Expo.
LOGOV has been the premier public works event in Brisbane for over 30 years and has decided to take the event to private industry. The local government expo has decided to broaden its audience and invite the private companies that complete 60 per cent of the public infrastructure workload.
“It makes sense that the councils want to see the contractors and their subcontractors attend this event. It’s a great networking opportunity and it gives everyone the chance to be abreast of the latest innovations from suppliers,” said Queensland Institute of Public Works Foundation Chairman Dawson Wilkie.
We have many of the major principal contractors confirming their presence by way of visiting or holding an exhibit at this year’s event. All of these companies have also invited their subcontractors. Great news for exhibitors as these people are the end game. It’s also great news for the industry as a whole, and makes this the go-to networking event in one of our recreational areas.
The coming together of these events will see over 260 exhibitors across 360,000m2 of floor space. For anything in civil construction, outdoor design, plant and machinery, software and communications, supply & hire, technical services, water, waste, fleet, maintenance, road and drainage then you cannot afford to miss this year’s huge event by the Institute of Public Works in conjunction with Moreton Bay Regional Council.
It’s free parking, free entry and all proceeds got to scholarships awarded by the Institute of Public Works Foundation’s Engineer members.
Don’t miss it. October 8 – 9.
