COLLINSCOLLINS

The CollinsCollins building at 440 Collins Street is nestled within the most prestigious corporate hub of Melbourne’s CBD.
Sitting on the intersection of Collins and Gurners Lane, the building has recently been refurbished with turn-key fit outs delivered by some of Melbourne’s best designers. The building’s location in the heart of the bustling city makes CollinsCollins one of Melbourne's most attractive commercial addresses.
Designed by renowned architcts Gray Puksan, the ground floor lobby and external entrance areas of the building include an impressive business lounge, lobby café and outside seating area. BuildCorp contracted Satu Bumi to manufacture and supply precast Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GRC) planters and furniture to meet Gray Puksan’s design brief.
Precast GRC is a preferred material for the manufacturing of outside planters and furniture for commercial projects, as opposed to build-on-site blockwork or formwork, due to its exceptional strength, ability to be cast to virtually any shape or size and can be cost effectively manufactured off-site ready for delivery and installation.
Satu Bumi is an Australian-owned business that specialises in the design and manufacture of both catalogue-based and custom-design GRC planters and GRC furniture for commercial projects. With installations across Australia, Europe, the US, Africa and Asia, Satu Bumi has the capacity and design competency to deliver GRC landscaping solutions for even the largest commercial projects across the world. In addition, Satu Bumi’s ISO 9001 (FM 798832) accredited quality control processes, competitive pricing, transport efficiency and solutions-based approach to the provision of its products and services sets it apart from its competitors.
Satu Bumi works collaboratively with architects, construction companies, developers and landscapers to provide GRC landscaping solutions that are impressive, durable and economically viable for today’s highly competitive and demanding landscaping and construction market.
