COMBINING UNIQUE DESIGN WITH INDIGENOUS THEMES

Omnitech partners with landscape architects to develop a play space that serves as a meeting place while telling a story.
"We would support more of this type of play space. Especially as it seeks to marry stories of place, environment, heritage and interpretation with children’s play. We see this as being an important strategy in relation to new communities in open field development." - City of Greater Geelong
To create the play space at Curlewis Estate, Infinity Landscapes worked closely with both the local Aboriginal community and Omnitech Playgrounds over a period of 12 months. The unique layout and colour scheme was chosen in order to foster the feeling of a “meeting place” where people from all ages can come to play and use their imagination by taking a step back in time to a place that once was.
Omnitech provided all HAGS playground equipment as well as installed the timber sculptures, steel hoops, wet pour rubber and mulch.
Omnitech Playgrounds has been a major player in the commercial playground field for more than 15 years. In that time, they have built up a reputation as a company that delivers both quality products and services. Based in Victoria, servicing the local market as well as New Zealand, Tasmania and WA, Omnitech also has a network of distributors which stretches across the country, comprising of Austek in Queensland, New South Wales and Northern Territory, Outfront Concepts in South Australia and The Playground People in ACT.
