Made for a vast range of applications from splash pads to pools, waterparks and locker rooms, bathrooms, water therapy centres and more, Life Floor surfacing is the first safety surfacing engineered specifically for aquatics.

Often the largest feature within any aquatic centre, floor surfaces serve a number of functions. Utilised in vibrant and engaging designs, surfacing can stimulate imaginative play, empower creative problem solving, serve as wayfinding and information foundations, as well as providing a non-slip, cushioned surface for safety.

Life Floor is NSF/ANSI/CAN 50:26 certified, making it a peace-of-mind choice for councils, developers, specifiers and contractors that guarantees longevity for projects.

Changes in texture around pool decks can improve accessibility, notifying users of a change in water depth that indicates a need for caution. As a modular surfacing system, Life Floor can be paired with different textures to generate a non-visual signalling system that is read by bare feet.

Using a visual approach, Life Floor can also be designed with surface markings to indicate depth changes, the presence of topographic features, or delineate different play zones. It can also carry safety messaging, such as no diving symbols or no running signs.

Colour can be used on steps to indicate where the edges are, or a splash pad can be divided into sectors based on colour to designate different play challenges for different ages. By zoning spaces with Life Floor, venues have the added advantage of facilitating people of all abilities to play freely without experiencing unanticipated features outside of their comfort level.

Due to its varied design capacity, clients can choose to incorporate company logos or design elements specific to their needs within their Life Floor surface. Using characters, letters and symbols, the ability to create a unique personality for any space is almost endless.

Life Floor is a modular system that lends itself to customisation, to meet the requirements of any project. Available in tile format, clients can choose from a range of standard themed solutions or opt for a fully custom design.

Able to be shaped and cut as needed, Life Floor surfacing can be used to create floor games such as hopscotch, immersive designs or bold floor graphics that help a facility to truly stand out.

Given its flexible nature, Life Floor surfacing allows for complete coverage to maximise safety. Wrap pool coping, soften pool edges, create depth markers or other safety messaging with ease.

Transition strips also make it possible to retrofit existing facilities. A no-trip transition from a new Life Floor surface to an existing substrate is possible, creating a safer foundation for users in aquatic environments.
