EXTREME PLAY FOR ANY SPACE
27 Jul 2023
The extensive Omnitech Extreme Range is one of the company’s most popular product ranges that has something to suit any space, from pocket parks to larger open areas.
The modularity of Omnitechs extreme equipment allows for easy adjustments on current designs and playground layouts, along with the expansion of existing units and capacity to build larger units in stages. A few of its recent installations for Moonee Valley Council emphasise the advantages of Omnitech Standard units and their potential in reconfiguration to suit the available space, economic constraints and the needs of its users.
The Lola unit packs in plenty of play in the PA Kirchner Park in Niddrie, complete with two slides, climbers, stairs and interactive play panels. Adjusting the incline of the bridge between upper decks to work with the natural fall of the landscape highlights just one of the ways our team works with the space to create the perfect playground for your park. Between the striking play unit, Omnitechs Omniswing Basket Swing and the Cemer Spider Group conical net climber, children can play with a fantastic view over the western suburbs of Melbourne on this brightly coloured playground.
Tucked away in the leafy neighbourhood park of Glenscott Reserve in Strathmore Heights, the Paul unit includes two slides, entertaining panels and plenty of climbing with an attached activity box. Activity boxes are a great way to add greater play value into small spaces and provide challenging activities for older children. With bright green steel and deep orange HDPE panels against the cool grey posts, the fun colours are warm and inviting.
The bright playground at Hassett Reserve in Keilor East showcases some of Omnitech’s refurbishment capabilities, combining the existing overhead equipment with two new decks complete with fun play panels, climbers, roofs, a rope bridge, junior and senior slides. The modularity of Omnitechs Extreme range of equipment allows us to work with any current equipment that may want to be retained to expand upon the space or replace old and non-compliant play equipment to breathe new life into an existing playground.
At Clarinda Park in Essendon, the modest Freya unit features bright pops of yellow and red against the muted posts to create a simple yet stimulating setting for kids to play. With the addition of jumping jacks, twirl bars and balance beam onto the standard unit, more of the available space is utilised to create greater action, and with the inclusion of the freestanding spinner, four-way animal springer and Omniswing, this park has a wide variety of activities.
These recent installations utilising our standard units highlight how Omnitech’s extensive range of Extreme standard units can be made to fit any space. With a wide range of standard units and the potential for adding, subtracting or substituting equipment on these designs, the team is confident in its ability to create the perfect playground for any space.
