FUTUREWOOD GETS SEAL OF APPROVAL

Low maintenance, rot resistant Futurewood CleverDeck was ideal for the decking and floating pontoons in the seal enclosure at SeaWorld.
Everyone loves a nice bit of decking around the pool.
And when SeaWorld on the Gold Coast needed decking for the floating pontoons and cladding around the seal enclosure, Futurewood’s CleverDeck was the obvious answer.
CleverDeck is a high quality wood composite that is pre-coloured, virtually maintenance-free, and resists rot, mould and mildew, making it far more suitable for this sort of application than conventional timber decking.
The Seal Harbour at SeaWorld uses 138mm widths in Slate Grey and the result is every bit as sleek and elegant as the animals themselves.
The boards are 23mm thick and 540mm in length and also come in Mahogany, Walnut, Chocolate and Saltbush. Regular lengths that don’t cup, warp or twist make CleverDeck a pleasure to use, and the exclusive NewTech system of concealed clips and fixings slashes installation time.
86mm widths are also available in Mahogany.
Over the last three years, Futurewood has largely become the product of choice for ramps, decking and enclosures at SeaWorld, where the combination of salt water, high foot traffic and a tropical environment is about as tough as it gets.
It’s a good example of Futurewood’s enormous versatility. And another benefit – sealproof – to add to the list of product features.
