GGS EXCLUSIVE LIVING SOFT FALL™ DISTRIBUTOR

Grange Growing Solutions (GGS) now blends and distributes Living Soft Fall™ for Ozbreed Pty Ltd who is based in NW Sydney region. This is the turf underlay for playground areas. It is a growing medium that has been tested and certified to meet playground surfacing requirements and soft fall standards.

What is Living Soft Fall™?

Used as a rubberised underlay for turf, Living Soft Fall™ is installed to a minimum of 200mm deep to meet the Australian safety standards.

It is a media made up of stabilised organics. By stabilised, it means they have been well composted and are made of organics that will not significantly slump. This is then mixed with a long-lasting inert soft rubber carbon polymer that, combined with the organics, provides a product that has been shown in the tests not to compact, even with a compaction machine.

Ozbreed has conducted extensive research into the viability of Living Soft Fall™ and it was shown that turf grown in this media met safety regulations, both when the turf was alive and dead. During testing the media itself did not compact, which shows it is highly resistant to compaction during plant media lifespan and in the case of a lack of maintenance or turf death.

While Living Soft Fall™ is an excellent soft fall for play areas, it is also a good growth medium for many ornamental plant species, making it a versatile landscaping product that can be utilised across a range of projects.

• Fall zone—200mm thick: $55 per square metre
• Outside fall zone—100mm thick: $30 per square metre
• 20 cubic metres—$250 per cubic metre Ex Yard Ebenezer, NSW
