The Good Design Awards program is managed by Good Design Australia and showcases superior examples of good design across a broad range of industries and design disciplines.
The program proudly promotes the very best in design, innovation and creativity at a national and international level. To qualify for the Good Design ® Selection entries must satisfy the stringent criteria for good design that includes factors such as safety, quality, functionality, sustainability and innovation.
The Judges commented: “This is a very competitive market and to offer something new and innovative is very challenging. Grafic Games offers a whole new ecosystem of options for customers resulting in an original and innovative experience. The quality and finish of the manufacturing is second to none.”
Grafic Games is a new concept in the outdoor play equipment industry combining quality design and manufacturing with graphic design. Grafic Games is an innovative finish applied to Proludic play equipment. Six distinctive finishes are available, or clients can design their own graphics to be applied by Proludic. Grafic Games provides designers with the opportunity to create unique playground art and personalised playground and park solutions for communities.
Proludic’s J4701-GM Medieval Castle Tower with Grafic Games is the centerpiece of the City of Adelaide’s Princess Elizabeth Play Space. Specially designed graphics of stonework with creeping ivy, timber palisades, decorative banners and flags all combine to provide the enchantment of the only medieval castle using modern materials in an Australian city! The City of Toowoomba selected Proludic’s J2607-GE Locomotive with Grafic Games for a railway themed playground to enliven the park and further enhance imaginative play opportunities. The Grafic Games “Etnik” finish was selected by the client because the colours complement and reflect the colours of the local landscape.
