LEEDERVILLE STANDS UP
05 Aug 2015
Outside Products specialise in design, engineering and fabrication of public use structures. Their recent Leederville design and construction project showcases their wide-ranging scope.
With a strong focus on customising designs to specific needs, Outside Products design and install furniture and bollards, shelters, footbridges, boardwalks, restrooms and more for public spaces. They are a QBuild preferred supplier, working through landscape contractors, to supply Government Authorities, Ports Authorities and Developers.
Working closely with landscape architects and consulting engineers to design and specify products that suit the aesthetic and structural needs of the client, Outside Products are in on the ground floor of a project.
They design and fabricate customised structures from small one off jobs through to complete ranges of products for exclusive use by an individual council or developer; such as the recently completed Leederville redevelopment.
Outside Products was selected to design and supply a 30m x 10m all aluminium sheltered structure for the Oxford Street, Leederville redevelopment near Perth in Western Australia.
Out of the eight companies that submitted proposals – 7 from Perth – they chose this QLD based company!
Why did they choose to work with a company 4500km away? Because of their design concept and their ability to present a 3D model of their proposal, ensuring the success of the project.
While some design changes were made along the way, such as changing to bolt down posts and the overall size of the structure, the beauty of 3D design means a customer can see exactly what they’ll be getting and design changes can be made on the go as needed – ensuring the ultimate success of the project.
