MONDO LANDSCAPES
10 Apr 2012
Created a reputation for designing unique and functional landscapes with superior attention to detail.

Mondo Landscapes has recently expanded into new premises with a boardroom. Located in the hub of Applecross, the new premises are easily accessible for clients. Here, the local community can also indulge in a little retail therapy. Clients love the relaxed atmosphere where they can come in to view their designs, product samples and plants over a Nespresso coffee. A unique approach to style and unmatched attention to detail is what makes the team and business a success. As winners of a number of landscape design awards, Mondo Landscapes’ work has been published both locally and interstate.

The journey with Mondo Landscapes includes an initial on-site consultation, the development of a conceptual design, through to final detailed landscape plans, installation, plant sourcing and supply, plus a glass of wine at the end of the project.
Premium architectural designs can be developed in 3D to provide an accurate representation of the final vision.
There are many elements to a landscape design plan and once the plan has been completed, Mondo Landscapes can arrange for the whole project to be installed. From the simplest of planting to the most complex resort-style design, Mondo’s expert teams can look after you.
Project:
A sense of tranquillity and calm is evoked by this landscape, created two years ago at a home in Perth. All living zones inside the home have a water view, a visual link that provides integration between the outdoor space and the areas within. Adjacent to the dining room is a timber outdoor platform, which offers a slice of serenity by the reflection pond. Here, water flows down over the Bisazza spillway, hitting the charcoal split-face granite to create a glistening effect into the pond below. Using a neutral palette of creams, greys and whites allows the natural textures of the timbers and travertine to shine through.
The resort-style ambience is further enhanced by the Plumeria sp under planted with Dianella emerald arch and Giant Rhoeo.
