OMNITECH’S NEW TIMBER UNIT

Natural rope and timber materials encourage tactile interaction, allowing children to touch, watch and play using their senses to discover new shapes and experiences. Omnitech’s new timber units are proudly Australian made and built using strong, durable, locally sourced materials to ensure they can withstand even the harshest of outdoor environments.

Inspired by nature, this timber unit is a fantastic source of inspiration for physical activity. Designed by Omnitech Playground’s inhouse design team, the Telford Reserve timber playspace was developed to accommodate children from a broad age range. Created especially for children aged 2-12, this unit is guaranteed to entertain and delight.

The Telford Reserve equipment has over twelve different types of play activities, fostering continuous and stimulating play. The playground features a high 2m x 2m deck with a double slide, and plenty of climbing activities. The larger deck space provides a platform for imaginative play and social interaction with its multi-level play areas.

Adding a whole new dimension of fun to this playground is the large OmniRope spidernet. Through climbing, swinging, swaying and hanging, the OmniRope system caters to a range of play abilities to help develop both upper and lower body strength and co-ordination, as well as creating social opportunities for kids.

This new playspace has been designed to blend seamlessly with the natural environment of Telford Reserve. Situated on top of a hill the extra height from the play equipment provides incredible views of the surrounding areas. By incorporating natural elements with colour schemes that complement the park’s beautiful eucalypt landscape, this playground offers multi-dimensional play activity, and is keeping the local community very happy.
