RENEWED RESERVOIR TRAIN STATION
25 Aug 2022
Stoddart Infrastructure has delivered a suite of street furniture to Reservoir Train Station in Victoria as part of the Level Crossing Removal Project.
Stoddart Infrastructure, in conjunction with North Western Program Alliance, Genton Architects and McGregor Coxall Landscape Architects, delivered a range of platform and landscape furniture, bicycle storage, bollards and tree systems for the revamped Reservoir Train Station in Victoria.
Reservoir Station was included in the Level Crossing Removal Project, replacing a number of dangerous and congested level crossings across Victoria. Stoddart has been involved in a number of these station fit outs involved in the Level Crossing Removal Project.
Stoddart’s DDA compliant, stainless steel Station Seats and Station Bins were supplied for the platform furniture. For the station forecourt, Stoddart delivered a bespoke landscape furniture suite, consisting of masonry elements, stainless steel, specialty timber and LED lighting.
The tree system grates around the station forecourt, also supplied by Stoddart, were designed with water sensitive urban design in mind – collecting water runoff to sustain the trees. Bollards and bicycle storage were also supplied as part of the furniture suite.
