S+G UPDATE WITH A NEW LOOK
05 Oct 2016
Street + Garden take their 25th Anniversary celebrations as an opportunity to look back at their beginnings and develop new innovations as they launch a new look S+G logo and website.
Street + Garden (S+G) recently celebrated 25 years in the street furniture industry with the launch of a new logo and website. At the recent launch S+G received a great deal of positive feedback regarding their new look, and a host of new opportunities to explore the evolving street furniture market.
As some of you may be aware, the S+G Director and Founder, David, is originally from Tasmania. In 1986, David was fortunate to have been approached by Hobart City Council to complete a commercial design project for Franklin Square in Hobart. It is this project that became the catalyst for what was to become S+G in 1991.
Thirty Years later Hobart City Council gave David an opportunity to develop a fresh design solution to complement the Franklin Square of old; creating new character for the area as part of the refurbishment of the historic park and waterfront precinct.
This invitation was a ringing endorsement of the skills developed over time by the team at S+G. The refurbishment of Franklin Square gave S+G the chance to showcase the significant changes that have occurred in the way they understand how street furniture works and should be integrated into public spaces. The project served as an affirmation of S+G’s evolution as they strive to create truly original design solutions that enhance how people use and feel about their public spaces.
In acknowledgement of the support they have received over the years, S+G would like to thank those that helped to celebrate their 25th Anniversary, with a special thank you to THE SUM OF’s Kevin Finn for his assistance in creating the new logo and website for S+G.
To experience the new look S+G and discover for yourself their latest innovations, they invite you to drop in and explore the full depth of what they have to offer.
