SPHERICAL STRUCTURE TO TAKE CENTRE STAGE IN LONDON

The Madison Square Garden Company has unveiled its new concept design for one of its futuristic sphere shaped arenas to be erected in London. Slated to become London’s largest indoor entertainment venue, the MSG Sphere will soar to 90-metres-high and hold a capacity of 21,500.
Designed by architectural studio Populous the MSG Sphere is in its final stages of approval by the London Mayor’s office. Populous are renowned for its spherical shaped arenas with one currently in construction in Las Vegas, US, set to open its doors in 2023.
To be London’s largest indoor venue, the MSG Sphere will be 90-metres-high and hold a capacity of 21,500. This multifaceted venue will include restaurants, cafes and a member’s club. As well the sphere structure will sit on top of a plethora of shops and a nightclub.
The circular structure is innovatively designed not only for its architecture but fot its unique exterior surface that will be covered completely with LED screens to be used for promotion and advertising. Inside the venue, LED screens will be accessible for esports and other events.
A step into the future of technology in our entertainment spaces, Populous has designed a one-of-a-kind structure that will gather communities from around the world. Not only for the wonders inside, but for its almighty scale and futuristic touch.
