The GPS assisted navigation and guide wires ensures uniform coverage of complex lawns, while automatically adapting mowing frequency to lawn growth. Able to handle all types of lawns and manage steep slopes up to 70% (35°) model dependent, with perfect cutting results – even in rainy conditions. Remote Object Detection enables higher mowing speed and area capacity as well ability to avoid an obstacle.
With Automower®, lawns don’t require as much fertilisation when compared with other cutting techniques due to the unique mulching technique. The pivoting razor blades cut just a few millimeters at a time, leaving small clippings on the lawn, providing important nutrients and resulting in a denser, greener lawn.

Thanks to its breakthrough technology, Husqvarna® EPOS (exact positioning operating system), lawn care is even easier – without any wires. The high-precision satellite technology enables Automower® to work within virtual boundaries, so instead of using a traditional boundary wire laid along the edges of the lawn, the area where the machines can be used is virtually delimited using satellite data, providing endless commercial opportunities.
The sophisticated satellite technology, Husqvarna® EPOS, with the help of GNSS, a high-precision GPS, the location of the robotic mower can be recorded to within a few centimeters and a mowing accuracy of 2-3 centimeters can be achieved. 
The simple, flexible installation and the option of defining several work areas and setting temporary stay-out zones opens up unimagined possibilities. The absence of physical boundary wires also means problem-free aerating, scarifying and turf repairs.
