THE ULTIMATE LOW MAINTENANCE ARIA SEAT
03 Oct 2019
The ground floor plaza of 12 Moore Street Canberra, ACT, has been modernised and refreshed thanks to the installation of Aria Seats and Simple Bins from Street Furniture Australia.
The office tower is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment project with Stage One – specified by DJAS Architecture and delivered by FDC Construction – featuring the installation of Street Furniture Australia’s Aria Seats and Simple Bins.
The seats and bins are optimised for long-term maintenance and perfectly complement the shape of the space.
The Aria Seats and round 80L Simple Bins feature matching Textura Monument frames and aluminium woodgrain Spotted Gum battens. The Aria two-seaters and curved configurations fit around planter corners with 90-degree connector modules, sitting in sheltered nooks to provide privacy.
These batten and frame materials are an ideal combination for easy cleaning and maintenance. The textured, anti-mar Textura powdercoat range is highly recommended for bins, as it is easy to wipe clean. Woodgrain aluminium provides a warm timber look that is ideal for places with cold climates such as Canberra, without the need for regular oiling.
The refurbishment has “modernised and refreshed” the public space, according to custodian AMP Capital. Tenants of the office tower and their guests now have “a re-energised and distinguished arrival point”.
