CHERRY LAKE PARK

Cherry Lake Reserve is a picturesque park located around a large lake in Altona, west of Melbourne. The reserve is popular for walking, running and riding, and hosts various playspaces. Council was keen to further activate the reserve by providing opportunities for residents to exercise, promoting a healthy lifestyle.

a_space worked closely with Council to identify two key sites that were visible, accessible and attractive for the placement of new outdoor gyms. The equipment offers the ability to partake in cardio, strength and agility training, for users of different ages and fitness levels.

The feedback from users has been overwhelmingly positive.
