FIG TREE NODE

Engaged by the Brisbane City Council, to reinvigorate Stones Corner, Penfold Projects delivered a beautiful makeover of the iconic fig tree node.

Located on the junction of Logan Road and Old Cleveland Road, the objective of the Fig Tree Node project was to rejuvenate the area by creating a bright and fresh streetscape design. Softscape works included the reinstatement of mulch and the installation of a selection of vibrant sub-tropical plants adding colour and appeal to the area. Artificial turf was also fitted into the design, to ensure a consistent presentation of the turf area throughout the year while reducing the maintenance requirements for the area.

Efficiently programmed and completed in under a week, Penfold Projects executed the scope of Fig Tree Node under all road works safety regulations and by ensuring minimisation of traffic disturbances.
