The project was specifically tailored to the client’s needs and required all structures to be made of stainless steel with energy-efficient hotplates to complement the developments environmentally sustainable construction standards.

Located in the Macquarie Park precinct, adjacent to the Macquarie Shopping Centre and Macquarie University, the client had specific requirements for a large 2.8m bench and a seamless option that would provide the perfect outdoor dining area. In considering options, the client initially looked at gas-powered solutions but eventually opted for an energy-efficient electric hotplate, which met the brief for low running costs, easy maintenance, and cleaning.

Greenplate’s design and manufacturing team worked closely with the developer to ensure that the final product was both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The resulting barbecue and sink combinations were designed with the highest quality materials and finished to perfection, providing an attractive and durable outdoor dining area for the residents of the new development.
