QUIET GROVE

For some children, the playground experience can be overwhelming. The Quiet Grove was specifically designed to reduce the sights, sounds, and even smells that can cause stress to children, by combining the soothing benefits of nature with sensory activities.

The Quiet Grove can be installed away from the playground to create a peaceful retreat to escape the hustle and bustle. Here, a child can rest with a parent or carer to give them a secure place to recover before heading back to play – all without leaving the playground.

The translucent bamboo panels, leaf patterns in the roof, and the natural wood-like bench bring the benefits of nature to the Quiet Grove. The Quiet Grove is equipped with five different activities that are proven to help soothe the mind and body. They provide children time to focus and alleviate stress that overstimulation can cause. Located both inside and outside the Quiet Grove, these activities allow multiple children to self-soothe by spinning, pushing, clicking, and moving different objects.
