Partnering with Sonaray, Saferoads has designed their solar lighting for easy installation. All Saferoads public lighting products are designed to comply with and exceed Australian Standards.
BENEFITS OF SOLAR
Installation of traditional lighting, which means tying your light fixtures to an electrical grid system, requires trenching and underground wiring. This process is lengthy, costly and can be inconvenient – not to mention resulting in expensive ongoing electrical bills. Costs associated with underground wiring, onsite transformers and electrical enclosures are often greater than newly installed solar lights.
Solar lighting offers an affordable and easy option to the traditional gridded alternative, especially for difficult or remote areas where running trenched power can be problematic.
Off grid means:
- NO more electricity bills
- NO more carbon emissions
- Sustainable and reliable lighting
In addition to their 30W range of both portable and permanent lighting options, Saferoads are set to release some new additions to their solar range, including a 30W lighting pole with CCTV option and a selection of solar bollards suitable for gardens and pathway lighting.
The new 30W range with CCTV offers all the benefits of the standard range, including motion sensors, with the addition of CCTV to provide added security and functionality to public lighting.
The new solar bollard units offer smart power management (23-hour autonomy) and a four-day backup charge - no trenching or cabling required. The bollards are corrosion resistant and environmentally friendly.
