Saferoads provides innovative product solutions in the areas of traffic management, variable message boards, public lighting, barriers and crash rated energy-absorbing bollards.

Founded in 1992, Saferoads has grown from a small local business in Warragul to a publicly listed company on the ASX. Originating from an idea to use a recycled tyre to make a rebounding guide post, Saferoads now offers a diverse range of products and services.

Saferoads products are distributed through an extensive sales network Australia-wide.

Saferoads’ extensive range of public lighting systems is distributed to councils, government bodies and public lighting installers Australia-wide. All Saferoads public lighting products are designed to comply with and exceed Australian Standards.

LED Street and Park Lighting | Available in a wide range of colours and styles. In-ground mount, with base plate and foundation bolts

SafePole | Revolutionary impact absorbing light pole. Australian designed and tested, the SafePole absorbs the energy of the impacting vehicle. The controlled deceleration on the vehicle allows drivers and passengers to walk away from what could be a fatal accident, and the pole remains anchored to prevent further road trauma

Standard URD Columns | Widely used on P Category and V Category Roads. Variety of mounting options available to accommodate area/power network requirements

Solar Lighting | Saferoads have partnered with SONARAY to release the latest in innovative solar public lighting

Saferoads’ decorative solar lighting range utilises advanced technology from SONARAY and includes a long-life battery mounted within the light fitting to reduce the need for underground installation of pits. Designed with a ‘plug and play’ system, the pole is installed and the light panel simply plugged in, making installation fast and easy. With no ongoing running costs, and no cabling infrastructure required, solar lighting systems are a simple and affordable public lighting solution
