Made entirely from 316 (Marine Grade) Stainless Steel, these Driveway Drains have been electro-polished for an attractive, high-quality, chromium-like appearance.
The Creative Drain Solutions Driveway Drain and Grates are manufactured in Australia and constructed entirely from 316 (Marine Grade) Stainless Steel.
All drains produced are electro-polished after manufacture to create an attractive, high-quality, chromium-like appearance.
In technical terms, electro-polishing is an electrolytic process used to passivate the iron content on the surface area of stainless steel. This process cleans all weld marks and manufacturing blemishes on the stainless steel, creating a Chromium-Oxidised surface which is free from the iron contaminants that often causes staining to appear on stainless steels used in harsh or corrosive environments, for example in coastal locations.
The Driveway Drain is available as a modular system in 1000mm, 1500mm, 2000mm or 3000mm lengths and constructed in various size formats: from 130mm (W) x 110mm (D) up to 260mm (W) x 200mm (D). This system can be manufactured to meet all AS3996-2006 load ratings.
Outlets can be added horizontally or vertically in any required position, available in 75mm, 90mm or 100mm diameters. Custom lengths over and above the modular sizes and depths can also me manufactured to suit your specific requirements. The Drain base can also be made with fall built to the waste outlet.
Creative Drain Solutions place great emphasis on compliance with all relevant Australian Standards. As a result, the lineal drains meet or exceed the following standards:
- Water Marked to ATS Standard 2500.040 WMKT 22071
- Water Marked License Level 2
- Vicpac Engineering Tests - Compliant
- Slip Resistance rating up to R12 on request
