Sports fields play essential roles within communities all across Australia. However, a sports field is only as good as the turf it offers players. The Sports Turf Association is dedicated to providing education, information, knowledge and training for professional turf installers, as well as for those in the recreation and leisure industry.
The Sports Turf Association is a member of the Turfgrass Association of Australia, and remains dedicated to providing its members with networking opportunities, as well as training and education to help serve their customers better. The Sports Turf Association is a national association of professionals with a presence throughout the nation. Offices are located in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and the ACT region. One of the most important roles of the association is to provide members with information about turf management, growth, installation and new developments in the field, including irrigation and other related principles. To achieve these goals, the Sports Turf Association provides a range of educational and informational opportunities, including workshops, seminars and conferences held across the nation for professional development and adherence to industry standards.
