Tuff Turf was awarded the contract based on an alternative design that offered an innovative solution to the complex water table issues that are known to the Goulburn Valley region. Incorporating the use of alternative stabilsation techniques, their design saved Council tens of thousands of dollars in overall construction costs. It also promoted a large carbon offset when compared to traditional methods of soil stabilisation.
The Goulburn Valley Hockey Club now plays on a new Tuff HF13 ‘HYBRID’ synthetic grass system. Designed to meet the National requirements of the International Hockey Federation (FIH), this sand-dressed synthetic surface offers superior comfort to players and fantastic ball speed - which makes it a winner with the players!
