Greenplate Goes to Japan

Greenplate were thrilled be selected to supply a Double Electric Barbecue to Central Highlands Regional Council for their Sister City in Japan, ‘Ichinoseki’. Greenplate’s Managing Director Peter Hurley flew to Japan as part of a contingency of Suppliers and Representatives from Central Highlands Regional Council.

The Barbecue was exceptionally well received and in top operating order to cater for the opening launch, which included a huge amount of great Aussie Central Highlands beef cooked perfectly on the Greenplate® Electric BBQ which was the ‘Star of the Show’. Greenplate are thrilled to add Japan to our list of international countries where Greenplate BBQs are installed.

New Features for our Electric BBQs

Greenplate BBQ’s are second to none in the Industry where innovation and the latest technology are concerned. For instance, our six second delay switch is an ideal child safety mechanism (button needs to be pressed and held for 6 seconds before the BBQ kicks in).

Another ideal feature is our five second stop switch (button must be pushed and held for 5 seconds to turn the BBQ off). This feature is ideal for maintenance personnel, allowing the BBQ to be heated, cleaned and turned off immediately without having to leave it running the full 28 minute cycle, saving time and power.
