Greenplate is a family-owned Australian company specialising in the design, manufacture, installation and servicing of energy-efficient commercial electric barbecue systems for public, recreational and commercial environments.

Established in 2004, Greenplate has more than 20 years experience supplying public barbecue solutions to councils, landscape architects, developers, contractors, holiday parks, sporting facilities, apartment developments and commercial facilities throughout Australia and overseas.

The company works closely with landscape architects, project managers, councils, electrical contractors and construction teams to ensure each barbecue system is suitable for its intended location, usage requirements and surrounding landscape design.

Greenplate is part of Cosmos Solar Pty Ltd, an Australian manufacturing business established in 1983. This long manufacturing history has helped Greenplate develop a strong understanding of electrical systems, solar power, product engineering, fabrication and the requirements of equipment installed in demanding public environments.

What makes Greenplate unique is the ability to manage the complete product lifecycle in-house. The Greenplate team designs and develops its products in Australia, supports installation and commissioning, and provides ongoing servicing, spare parts and technical assistance.

By managing these processes internally, Greenplate can provide greater control over product quality, lead times, technical support and long-term serviceability. Products are designed so that key components can be accessed, repaired and replaced, helping asset owners extend the operating life of their barbecue infrastructure.

Custom work is a key part of Greenplate's capability. Options include modifying cabinet dimensions, layouts, access doors, colours, finishes and accessories to suit individual architectural, landscape and site requirements. The barbecue systems can also be integrated into custom-built benches and surrounding landscape elements.

Greenplate barbecue cabinets can be powder coated in a wide range of colours. Timber-look and anodised finishes are also available for selected products such as seating systems.
