AWARD WINNING ALL ACCESS

The Christie Parksafe 'A-Series' all-access barbecue, recently awarded a Good Design Award for setting new standards in design, continues to shine.
Christie Parksafe Barbecues, the market leaders in park barbecues, recently took out the 2016 Good Design Award for Best in Category - Commercial and Industrial with their innovative A-Series all-access outdoor barbecue. This award-winning barbecue was born from Christie Parksafe’s mission to enable all park users to enjoy the Australian tradition of cooking outdoors and in public spaces.
The A-Series barbecue is designed to assist wheelchair users to reach the cooktop with ease while keeping hot surfaces safely out of reach of children. Its wheelchair-friendly design is hard wearing, allowing it to stand up to the challenges unique to public installations, including vandalism and misuse. The benchtop is available in single and double lengths, and can be customised to include double cooktops or sinks designed for easy tap reach.
The A-Series barbecue blends seamlessly into any architecturally-designed urban landscape with its contemporary sculptural form and continues to set new standards in the design of outdoor barbecues and benchtops for open parks and spaces.
Alex Christie, National Sales Manager, Christie Parksafe says ‘We would like to congratulate the Councils, Developers, and landowners who have already installed an A-Series barbecue. We have been bowled over by the positive response to the A-Series which tells us that people clearly value the importance of providing world-class public barbecue facilities.’
