TIME TO CELEBRATE

Over the years, S+G has been privileged to be given the opportunity to complete a range of special designs for many of Australia’s public and private open spaces, including their latest project, Franklin Square in Hobart. This space was recently refurbished with a contemporary interpretation of furniture designs that complemented the well-known area superbly.

In the early days, when places like Noosa, Brisbane, Bundaberg, Surfers Paradise and Toowoomba were given significant enhancements to their CBDs, S+G was proud to work closely alongside landscape architects to bring life back into these public spaces.

In 2000, a milestone opportunity to design and supply a significant amount of high profile furniture items came in the form of a successful tender for the 2000 Olympics sites and venues. This contract allowed S+G to shine, and solidify their reputation as a business on the cutting edge of manufacturing technology. In turn a unique space, suitable for the prestige of this global event, was created.

Innovation has always been at the core of S+G’s commitment to urban infrastructure. Their vision to develop unique ideas that reflect the aspirations of individual spaces has been met with enthusiasm over these years. This support has allowed them to create significant and lasting infrastructure with their creative partners for a number of communities throughout Australia and internationally.
