With a belief that timber looks great in a forest and ideally it should stay there, Futurewood’s aim is to develop and market sustainable alternatives to rainforest timbers currently used in the building industry.
Futurewood® is dedicated to providing quality, value-added alternatives to traditional timber products. With a belief that timber looks great in a forest and ideally it should stay there, the company’s aim is to develop and market sustainable alternatives to rainforest timbers currently used in the building industry.
Versatile Futurewood does not rot, splinter or lose its colour. It looks like timber however, surprisingly, is made from recycled HDPE (industrial and post-consumer waste), rice husks and recycled hardwood timber, which makes it far more ecologically sustainable than timber.
Futurewood timber alternative products do not require oiling, staining or painting, so you can avoid the use of these chemical-based products and also the regular maintenance involved with timber.
The products provide a cost-effective alternative to traditional hardwood timber decking, fencing and cladding materials. Quick and easy to install, they come in standard lengths.
Futurewood® fencing and cladding are designed around great looks, proven sustainability and low maintenance. The company has a vast range of wood composite profiles, some specifically designed as cladding or as fencing and others that can be used as either fencing or cladding boards.
