It’s not too late! Register now for this year’s national Turf Australia Conference and Field Day to be held at the Sebel Kirkton Park in the Hunter Valley from 5 – 7 June.
Presentations on precision farming and turf nutrition will be held, along with the largest turf machinery field day ever held in Australia. The Master of Ceremonies will be ‘Tony the Turfman’ and presenters include John Keleher from Australian Lawn Concepts and Dr Mick Battam from AgEnviro Solutions.
Taking the turf industry further into the future through precision farming practices and robotics will be the focus of this year’s Turf Australia national conference and field day. The two-day event includes an extensive program of speakers addressing new technological developments in turf farming, the principles of precision agriculture, using facts and figures to promote the benefits of turf and learning how to build personal resilience in staff.
Conference participants will be some of the first in Australia to see the prototype robot designed for automated boom spaying and soon to be configured for the automated mowing of turf paddocks. This robot is currently in development by Queensland’s (QLD) robotics company, Swarmfarm.
AgTurf will host the Field Day for the national event, with a huge line-up of industry-leading equipment being demonstrated. The biennial event will also include the induction of industry leaders into the Hall of Fame and the Turf Industry charity auction which supports growers in times of need.
