The Hunter Pro-Spray line is built to last in residential and commercial applications. Hunter’s Pro-Spray can handle the harshest environments and still perform as needed because of its durable construction.
The Pro-Spray line incorporates a heavy-duty ribbed body and durable cap engineered to withstand the rigors of foot traffic and the abuses of heavy machinery.
Pedestrian traffic, landscaping equipment, temperature changes, and cycling pressures can often cause body caps to loosen. Most spray bodies on the market utilise an O-Ring, which breaks seal immediately after loosening. But The Pro-Spray can withstand more than one full 360º turn and remain sealed at any pressure.
The buttress thread design provides superior strength in cap-to-body gripping capacity helping the head to withstand high inlet surge pressures. This exclusive body cap design does not leak even when loosened, and all models feature a reliable, easy-to-adjust two-piece ratchet design.
Available in heights from shrub to 12” for many applications, Pro-Sprays are compatible with Precision Distribution ControlTM Adjustable Nozzles, Pro Fixed Nozzles, and MP Rotators. All models also include a user-friendly pull-ring flush cap to keep debris and clogging to a minimum.
The Hunter Pro-Spray sprinkler head is compatible with all industry standard female nozzles offering a high degree of flexibility.
Hunter’s co-molded wiper seal is a pressure-activated, multi-function wiper seal designed to reduce flow-by. The zero flush seal operates at low pressures and allows more sprinkler heads to be installed on the same zone. The wiper seal’s design protects the Pro Spray’s riser when operating, and keeps debris out of the seal when retracted, reducing riser stick-ups. Plus, the Pro Spray has the industry's strongest spring for positive retraction under any conditions.
For water savings, optional check valves can be added to the Pro-Spray to eliminate drainage at heads installed on slopes. This protects landscapes from damage and erosion while reducing water waste. Choose from the convenience of factory-installed check valves or the flexibility of field installation.
Pressure regulated models (PRS 30 and PRS 40) provide additional opportunities for extraordinary water savings. The PRS30 with the brown cap optimizes performance of traditional sprays at 30 PSI. The gray-capped 40 PSI PRS40 is designed for use with the highly-efficient MP Rotator and is the only 40 PSI regulated pop-up on the market today.
